Conventional ultrasound
In this method, the most common, the B-ultrasound probe is placed in the lower abdomen to observe the pelvic cavity, focusing on the uterus, accessories and pelvic cavity.
Transvaginal ultrasound
Another probe is added to the ultrasound machine, a membrane is placed on it, and the probe is inserted into the vagina by the doctor or the patient, focusing on the cervix and endometrium.
